European Nuclear Physics Conference 2025 (EuNPC 2025)

Caen France , France

EuNPC2025 is the sixth European Nuclear Physics Conference, organized by the Nuclear Physics Division of the European Physical Society, and jointly by GANIL-SPIRAL2, LPC Caen, IJCLab Orsay and IRFU Saclay. The conference will take place from September 22nd to 26th 2025, and will be held in Caen.

Nanometa 2026

Seefeld in Tirol Austria Seefeld in Tirol, Austria

NANOMETA aims to bring together the international Nanotechnology, Photonics and Materials research communities where most recent and challenging results and plans are discussed in the informal setting on a glorious mountaineering resort. The 2026 technical programme will include invited and selected contributed papers in the areas of: Time crystals and Floquet matter Symmetry breaking in photonics Fisher information in photonics Topological light and matter Quantum nanophotonics Strong light-matter interaction on the nanoscale Tunable, reconfigurable, and programmable metamaterials Nonreciprocal interactions and wave phenomena Chirality Low-dimensional and hybrid nanophotonic matter Advanced nanophotonic applications etc.  A special session will be organised to celebrate Sir Michael Berry’s seminal contributions to the physics of waves and topology. The conference will be organised in two oral parallel sessions (Nanophotonics and Metamaterials) to take place during 4 full days from Tuesday 6 to Friday 9 January 2026. The conference timetable will be arranged in a way that permits mid-day breaks for recreational activities and informal contact between participants. Nanometa 2026 will present plenary and breakthrough talks. The conference will also feature a number of invited talks devoted to recent important advances in nanophotonics and metamaterials science and poster sessions. Nikolay I. Zheludev, University of Southampton and NTU Singapore Harald Giessen, University of Stuttgart Nanometa 2026 co-chairs

3rd Biology for Physics Conference – “Energy and Information in Living Matter”

Barcelona, Spain , Spain

This conference will bring together leading scientists at the forefront of exploring how energy and information shape living systems. Over recent years, their work has illuminated fundamental constraints of life, from molecular machines to cells, neural networks, and developmental processes. Sessions will highlight cutting-edge topics including noise and information processing, information–energy conversion, and entropy production across biological scales. Alongside invited lectures, the program features contributed talks and extensive poster sessions designed to foster lively discussion and collaboration. Special emphasis will be placed on interaction between young researchers and established leaders, ensuring a dynamic and inspiring forum that connects ideas, disciplines, and generations.
