The 29th Central European Workshop on Quantum Optics

Vilnius Town Hall DIDŽIOJI ST. 31, Vilnius, Lithuania

The CEWQO conference series started in the early 1990s in Central Europe and gradually evolved into one of the most popular annual meetings of European scientists interested in foundations and applications of quantum optics. Quantum optics gave birth to quantum information and continues to be the driving force in designing innovative theoretical and experimental approaches. This year’s CEWQO aims to explore emerging topics and inspire advancements that extend beyond current quantum technologies.   The objective of this year's CEWQO is to explore emerging topics and inspire advancements that extend beyond current quantum technologies.   The conference will cover a broad range of topics within modern quantum optics, including:   Fundamental aspects of quantum optics Quantum correlations and entanglement Non-classical states and quantum tomography Open quantum systems Optical angular momentum and quantum polarization Quantum information processing Quantum communication Cavity and circuit QED Quantum optics with neutrons, atoms, and molecules Quantum optics in condensed matter systems

18th Czech and Slovak Conference on Magnetism (CSMAG’25)

Hotel PATRIA Štrbské Pleso 33, Vysoké Tatry, Slovakia (Slovak Republic)

The objective of the conference is to offer the opportunity for the Slovak and Czech scientists and guests from other countries working in the field of basic and applied magnetism to present their recent results and to exchange ideas and technical information.   Conference will take place in the lecture halls of congress centre of Hotel Patria.   Each session comprises both oral (invited and contributed talks) and poster presentations. Invited talks will take 30 min. Contributed talks will have duration of 15 min. The area allocated to each poster will be approximately 1.0 m x 1.2 m. The working language of the conference is English.

NanoInnovation 2025

Faculty of Civil and Industrial Engineering, Sapienza University of Rome Via del Castro Laurenziano, 7, Roma, Italy

NanoInnovation 2025 will be held from September 15 to 19, 2025, in the historic San Gallo cloister, at the Faculty of Civil and Industrial Engineering of the Sapienza University of Rome (Via Eudossiana 18). The event represents a well-established national meeting point for the wide and multidisciplinary community involved in the development of nanotechnology and its integration with other key enabling technologies (KETs), in all fields of application. This year, topics underlying Innovation, Nanomedicine, Nanomaterials, Energy, and related ecosystems will receive special attention, with the aim of enhancing the technological and social return on investment in research and higher education.   NanoInnovation 2025 will once more gather researchers, technologists, managers, entrepreneurs, and investors who will share their experiences, opinions, and expectations on the topics proposed this year, with constant focus on the world of nanotechnology. Special attention will be paid to the direct involvement of young researchers, doctoral students, and students, to support their inclusion in the professional world and foster their role as protagonists in the future of our Society.

4th International Symposium on the History of Particle Physics

CERN Geneva, Switzerland

Following in the mould established by precursors at Fermilab and SLAC, the 4th International Symposium on the History of Particle Physics will bring together leading physicists who have worked in the field with historians, philosophers and other scholars of science who study the discipline. The focus of this symposium will be upon the important discoveries and intellectual currents of the 1980s and 1990s — a period in which Europe and especially CERN became the acknowledged center of gravity in particle physics. Theoretical, experimental and accelerator physics developments will be examined, as well as the marriage of particle physics with cosmology and astrophysics. This symposium will occur at CERN on 10-13 November 2025.
