              EGAS 57 — 57th European Conference on Atomic Systems | 21-25 June 2026, Toruń

              June 21 - June 25
              Toruń, Poland Toruń, Poland

The EGAS conference is an annual event with a long tradition, organized since 1969 by the European Group on Atomic Systems of the European Physical Society (EPS). Recent editions took place in Granada, Spain 2024, Strasbourg, France 2023, Vilnius, Lithuania 2022, Florence, Italy 2019. The International Scientific Programme Committee is constructed by the EGAS board, a section of the Atomic, Molecular, and Optical Physics Division (AMOPD) of the EPS. EGAS typically attracts 200 participants. EGAS57 will take place at the award-winning Cultural and Congress Centre Jordanki, situated at the very heart of Toruń, Poland. The city is an economic, cultural, scientific, academic and tourist centre, whose Old Town was enrolled on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1997. The venue features state-of-the-art facilities and ample space for presentations, discussions, and networking sessions. It includes a concert hall, a chamber hall, modular conference rooms, and a restaurant, as well as space. Industry exhibitions will be held in spacious areas alongside coffee breaks and poster sessions—ensuring excellent visibility and interaction with conference participants. The conference is organized by Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, one of Poland’s leading research institutions. Its Institute of Physics is a recognized hub for Atomic, Molecular, and Optical Physics, internationally renowned for its contributions to high-precision spectroscopy and quantum optics. It is home to the National Laboratory of FAMO (Atomic, Molecular and Optical Physics) and the Quantum Optics Centre, both of which are at the forefront of experimental research in the field. The university is also renowned for its pioneering research across various disciplines of physics, including pioneering contributions to optical coherence tomography, quantum information applications, and nanophotonics. The location and the local expertise create an ideal scientific environment for EGAS and we look forward to welcoming scientists from across Europe and beyond for productive and engaging exchange of scientific breakthroughs and innovative ideas. Scientific topics at EGAS Fundamental physics Cold gases and quantum fluids Quantum optics, quantum information and quantum simulation Frequency and time domain spectroscopy and metrology Applications to astrophysics, plasma physics, biophysics, clusters Atom-like systems Important Dates Registration deadlines: regular registration: June 9th, 2026 Register now! PHYSICS OF MAGNETISM 2026 (PM’26)

              June 22 @ 8:00 am - June 26 @ 5:00 pm
              Poznań, Poland , Poland

The European Conference PHYSICS OF MAGNETISM 2026 (PM'26) will be held on June 22-26 in Poznań, Poland. The current event is going to be the eighteenth in a series which started in 1975. The conference aims to be an international forum for the presentation and discussion of novel scientific ideas in the field of broadly understood magnetism and magnetic materials. Accordingly, the 2026 edition boasts a very wide scope of topics ranging from the fundamental research to applications. PM’26 is organized jointly by the Institute of Molecular Physics, Polish Academy of Sciences, and the Faculty of Physics and Astronomy, Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań. On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we cordially invite you to join us in Poznań for this special anniversary edition of the Physics of Magnetism conference. With best regards, Piotr Kuświk Ireneusz Weymann Chairs of PM’26
