  • Design, plan the implementation and run large scale pilots to encourage and evaluate innovative use of existing eLearning tools and resources (e.g. interactive simulations, educational games, VR and AR applications, modeling and data analysis tools, eScience applications) for promoting IBSE in schools.
  • Reach 10,000 teachers and 100,000 students in 5,000 primary and secondary schools in 14 European countries (Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Finland, France, Greece, Germany, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Spain and United Kingdom) in the framework of the proposed activities.
  • Establish, organise and support a community of teachers that will act as leaders in producing meaningful change in contexts of teaching practices and will influence policy making.
  • The final goal of the Inspiring Science Education project is to make available to all European science teachers a common framework for the design, development, organisation and sharing of resources, methods and tools that promote teaching science by inquiry.

  • The coordination of the integration of the project’s outcomes in the European Science Education Academy [ESEA] in the framework of the development of the community of people and organisation involved in the ISE project.
