The European Physical Society (EPS) and Gruppo Acinque (Como, Italy) invite you to the inaugural Alessandro Volta Prize ceremony, celebrating outstanding contributions to physics.

The prize is awarded to Prof. Jean Dalibard (Collège de France & École Polytechnique, Paris). The event takes place on October 2, 2026 in Como, featuring an award ceremony at the Teatro Sociale and an international symposium at the Chiostro di Sant’Abbondio, with Nobel Laureates Prof. William D. Phillips (1997) and Prof. Alain Aspect (2022).
