The event will be held in Catania (Italy), from September 13 to 17, 2027, and is organized by the Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare (INFN), Division of Catania (CT) and Laboratori Nazionali del Sud (LNS), the Dipartimento di Fisica e Astronomia (DFA) “E. Majorana” of the University of Catania (UniCT), together with the Board of the NPD of the European Physical Society.

Following the tradition of the previous editions, EuNPC 2027 aims to review and discuss the status and prospects in the field of nuclear and hadronic physics, including societal applications. The conference will be a showcase for forefront theoretical and experimental developments, where the interplay between outstanding research and innovative concepts in the field will be promoted.

This edition will consist of invited plenary talks and parallel sessions with invited and contributed presentations. The participation of young researchers with oral and poster contributions, selected on the basis of their quality and impact in the field, is strongly encouraged. In addition, some time slots will be dedicated to talks given by researchers awarded with special Nuclear Physics Division NPD prizes, including the Lise-Meitner Prize and the Best PhD Thesis award.
